Since 2017, the company Scale Competition Xtreme S.L., with its registered office in Madrid, is the new entity responsible for manufacturing and distributing the Scalextric brand in Spain. The company's management was led by Luis M. Arnau, who began his professional career at EXIN, the toy company that first launched the Scalextric brand in the Spanish market in 1962. SCX set itself the objective of rejuvenating and giving continuity to the brand, bringing it back to the popularity levels of the EXIN era. During this period, the launch in 2019 of the Advance range with the latest Scalextric digital technologies stands out.
