The Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 is the modern evolution of Škoda Motorsport’s successful Fabia R5/Rally2. Built to FIA Rally2 regulations, it uses a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine producing around 289 hp and 430 Nm, a five-speed sequential gearbox and four-wheel drive with two mechanical differentials. At the 59th RallyRACC Catalunya–Costa Daurada in 2024, Suárez and Iglesias started with number 1 for the Recalvi Team. They were fastest on the Salou spectator stage and became the first leaders of the rally. The event ended much less favourably, however, as while fighting near the front they retired after going off the road on the penultimate stage, Horta–Bot. SCX reproduced this real car for its U10565S300 model.
