In 2025, SCX released a new version of the Renault 5 Turbo, reference U10554S300. As with previous versions, the model featured rear-wheel drive, front and rear LED lights, and a self-centering guide with twin braids. Finished in white with transverse stripes in orange tones, it carries the Tour de Corse decal and the names of Jean-Claude Torre and Patrick de la Foata on the sides of the front end. SCX used this real car, which competed in Corsica, as the basis for its U10554S300 model.

The Renault 5 Turbo of the early 1980s was Renault’s radical approach to rallying, featuring a turbocharged mid-rear engine, rear-wheel drive and a much wider body than the original road-going hatchback. It made its debut in 1981 and achieved outright victories in the World Rally Championship, standing out particularly for its performance on asphalt and technical stages, although it demanded considerable skill from the driver. In 1984, Jean-Claude Torre and Patrick de la Foata competed in the 28th Tour de Corse driving a Renault 5 Turbo, although they were forced to retire before the end of the event. SCX used this car as the basis for its U10554S300 model.
