Although the box advertises 1.6 HF, the real model it is based on is described as the Fulvia 1.3 HF and corresponds to the car that took part in the 1968 Marathon de la Route. In red, it carries the Marathon de la Route decal and the names of drivers Källström, Munari, and Pinto on the sides.

The Fulvias were 1.3 HF with 1,296 cc engines producing 119 hp, a 10/43 ratio in the novel 7-speed gearbox, and 5 1/2 x 13" wheels with Michelin tires. The Lancia Fulvia #9 (1.3 HF) with license plate T095 3014, from the official Lancia Corse team, finished 3rd overall and 1st in class at the 1968 Nürburgring 84 Hours (Marathon de la Route), beaten only by two Porsche 911 S cars. The trio Harry Källström / Sandro Munari / Raffaele Pinto completed 348 laps, demonstrating the reliability of the small V4 engine against larger-displacement rivals. The performance served as a trial run for the Fulvia 1.6 HF, with which Lancia would achieve overall victory in 1969. SCX reproduced this real 1968 car under its reference U10544S300.
