Delta

In 2019, SCX's first year as Scalextric licensee, the company released this new version of the Lancia Delta under reference U10246S300. In this case, unlike previous versions, it came with rear-wheel drive, while retaining the front and rear LED lights and guide with automatic return system. Finished in white with red and blue stripes in "MARTINI" livery — though the toy model carries the name "RACING" for legal reasons — it stands out for both its front light bar and the two side lights mounted in front of the wing mirrors. SCX reproduced the actual car driven by Kankkunen and Piironen at the 1991 Martini Safari Rally.

The Lancia Delta HF Integrale is one of the most legendary cars in rally history: it dominated the World Championship from the late 1980s to the early 1990s, claiming 6 consecutive constructors' titles (1987–1992), a record that still stands. Its combination of four-wheel drive, turbocharged engine and constant development made it the undisputed benchmark of its era. Juha Kankkunen and Juha Piironen, driving a Lancia Delta Integrale 16V for the Martini Lancia team, won the 1991 edition of the Martini Safari Rally in Kenya. SCX chose that car as the basis for its reference U10246S300.
