During 2000/2001, Altaya launched a 60-part collection containing the components needed to assemble a Scalextric circuit. The collection included two rally cars: a Ford Focus and a SEAT Córdoba. This SEAT Córdoba featured four-wheel drive powered by a motor with a double-ended shaft, front and rear lights using optical transmission, and a guide with double braids. Finished in yellow with blue sections and “REPSOL/MOVISTAR” livery, it carries race number 7, the Catalunya–Costa Brava Rally decal, and the names Auriol and Giraudet on the rear side windows. Its black front auxiliary light pod is a distinctive feature. The Altaya model reproduces the actual car that competed in this rally in 2000.
