Between 2002 and 2003, Altaya marketed the “RALLY MITICOS” collection, comprising 12 cars across 48 instalments, plus a Porsche 911 for subscribers. The 2005–2006 reissue added a Subaru Impreza. This Toyota Celica had no lights and featured rear-wheel drive. Finished in white and red, with race number 2, “REPSOL” livery and a weathered finish, it bears the names C. Sainz and L. Moya on its sides and a Lombard Rally decal. Altaya based its collection model on this car, which competed in 1990.

Year1990
The Toyota Celica GT-Four (ST165) was developed by Toyota Team Europe for Group A and made its World Rally Championship debut in 1988. It featured a front-mounted, two-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing approximately 296 hp and permanent four-wheel drive. Carlos Sainz and Luis Moya won the 1990 Lombard RAC Rally in a Toyota Celica GT-4 (ST165) entered by Toyota Team Europe. With this model, they secured their first world title that year, having already clinched it in Sanremo before contesting the British event. Altaya reproduced this car for its “Rally Míticos” collection model.
