Between 2002 and 2003, Altaya marketed the “RALLY MITICOS” collection, comprising 12 cars across 48 instalments, plus a Porsche 911 for subscribers. The 2005–2006 reissue added a Subaru Impreza. Like the Exin models, this Lancia 037 had no lights and featured rear-wheel drive. Finished in white with red and blue stripes and carrying race number 1, it bears the names W. Röhrl and C. Geistdörfer on its sides and a Monte Carlo Rally decal. Altaya based its collection model on this car, which competed in 1983.

Year1983
The Lancia Rally 037 was developed by Lancia, Abarth and Pininfarina for Group B and made its competition debut in 1982. It featured a mid-mounted, two-litre four-cylinder engine fitted with a Volumex supercharger, producing approximately 276 hp, and rear-wheel drive. Walter Röhrl and Christian Geistdörfer won the 1983 Monte Carlo Rally with race number 1 and Martini Racing livery. Altaya reproduced this car for its “Rally Míticos” collection model, replacing the alcoholic drinks brand “MARTINI” with “LANCIA”. That season brought Lancia the manufacturers’ world title, making the 037 the last rear-wheel-drive car to achieve this distinction.
