Commercialisation year2002
Between 2002 and 2003, Altaya marketed the “RALLY MITICOS” collection, comprising 12 cars across 48 instalments, plus a Porsche 911 for subscribers. The 2005–2006 reissue added a Subaru Impreza. This Audi Quattro has no lights and features four-wheel drive, with a motor driving the rear axle and a belt-and-pulley system transmitting drive to the front axle. Finished in white and yellow and carrying race number 2, it bears the names Stig Blomqvist and Björn Cederberg on its sides and a Sanremo Rally decal. The model is a replica of the real car that competed in 1984.

RALLYRallye de Sanremo
Year1984
In 1984, Stig Blomqvist and Björn Cederberg contested the 26th Sanremo Rally in an Audi Sport quattro, the short-wheelbase evolution of the Audi Quattro developed for Group B. It featured four-wheel drive and a front-mounted, turbocharged five-cylinder engine of approximately 2.1 litres, producing around 444 hp. They retired from that Sanremo Rally following an oil leak caused by damage to a pipe when landing after a jump. Altaya’s model uses Exin’s long-wheelbase Quattro body; although its livery reproduces that of the real car, its shape does not faithfully represent the Sport quattro that contested the event.
