Between 2002 and 2003, Altaya marketed the “RALLY MITICOS” collection, comprising 12 cars across 48 instalments, plus a Porsche 911 for subscribers. The 2005–2006 reissue added a Subaru Impreza. This Toyota Celica had no lights and featured four-wheel drive powered by a double-ended RX-8 motor. Finished in white with green and red accents, “CASTROL” livery and race number 21, it bears the names D. Auriol and D. Giraudet on its sides and a decal for the 39th Tour de Corse. Altaya reproduced the real car that competed in 1995.
