The Porsche 911 SC/RS, internally designated Type 954, was developed in 1984 to compete in rallies under Group B regulations. It featured a naturally aspirated three-litre flat-six engine producing 247 hp in homologation specification, rear-wheel drive and an approximate weight of 960 kg. In 1984, Saeed Al-Hajri and John Spiller contested the Lombard Rally in a Porsche 911 SC RS entered by Rothmans Porsche Rally, finishing 17th. Altaya reproduced this real car for its “Rally Míticos” collection, replacing the tobacco brand with “RACING” in the livery.
