The Škoda Octavia WRC Evo3 was the final evolution of the model, introduced in Finland in 2002 with improvements to the chassis, aerodynamics and engine management. It featured a two-litre turbocharged engine producing approximately 296 hp and four-wheel drive. In 2003, Didier Auriol and Denis Giraudet finished ninth in the Monte Carlo Rally in a Škoda Octavia WRC Evo3 entered by Škoda Motorsport. Altaya reproduced this car for its PRO collection model. That same year, the works team began replacing it with the new Fabia WRC.
