2018 was SCX's first year as Scalextric licensee. While awaiting the following year's new releases, only the CLUB 2018 car made an appearance. It is a car derived directly from circuit racing, based on the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup used in one-make cups and GT championships, although in this Club Scalextric 2018 edition it is finished in Safety Car livery — that is, as the safety vehicle used to neutralise and control races. The model comes with rear-wheel drive, front and rear LED lights, and a guide with automatic return and double braid.
