In 2016, the last year of its Scalextric licence, Fábrica de Juguetes released this new version of the Ford Escort under reference A10222S300. Like previous versions, it came with rear-wheel drive, front and rear LED lights, and a guide with double braid. In black and white with "ALLIED POLYMER" livery, it carries #1, a replica of the Lombard Rally car, with the names Timo Mäkinen and Henry Liddon on the sides of the bonnet. Fábrica de Juguetes used the actual car that raced in 1975 as the model for its reference A10222S300.

The Ford Escort MKII RS1800 was one of the great rally icons of the late 1970s. It was fitted with a 2.0 naturally aspirated Cosworth BDA engine, rear-wheel drive and a lightweight chassis that made it lethal on gravel and broken tarmac stages. With it, Ford won the Constructors' World Championship in 1979, along with many rally victories. This Fábrica de Juguetes model is a reproduction of the Ford Escort RS 1800 MKII fielded by the Allied Polymer Group team, which won the 1975 Lombard Rally driven by Timo Mäkinen with Henry Liddon as co-driver.
