In 2014, Fábrica de Juguetes released this limited “Vintage” edition of the Austin Healey 3000, reference A10118S300. It is a reissue of the 1965 Scalextric Austin Healey and was packaged in a plastic box that also included a reproduction of the original cardboard boxes from that era. The model is a faithful copy of the 1965 original, featuring an open-frame motor with rear-wheel drive, a fixed guide, and no lights. Finished in green with number 18, it includes a single driver positioned on the right and carries no racing decals or driver identification.

The Austin Healey 3000 is a car with a long competition history, having raced at famous circuits worldwide such as Le Mans, Sebring, and Mount Panorama. The model competed successfully between 1959 and 1965, when British Motor Company discontinued its development, partly due to the impact of the Mini Cooper “S”.
