Year1972
The Alpine-Renault A110 1600 was one of the most successful rally cars of the early 1970s, noted for its low weight, rear-mounted engine, and outstanding agility. In its 1600 version it reached competitive maturity and allowed Alpine to dominate the international scene. In 1973 it won the first FIA World Rally Championship for Makes, with drivers such as Andruet, Thérier, and Darniche. It is considered a technical and sporting icon of classic rallying. British crew members Pat Moss-Carlsson and Elisabeth Crellin finished in tenth place at the 41st edition of the Monte-Carlo Rally (1972) driving an Alpine-Renault A110 1600. Tecnitoys used this real 1972 car as the model for its reference A10082S300.
