In 2012, their last year of marketing Scalextric models, Tecnitoys launched two versions of the same Hummer H3 model: the first with reference A10067S300 and the second in a "mud effect" finish with reference A10081S300. Both came with four-wheel drive powered by a dual-axle motor, front and rear LED lights, and a guide with an articulated arm that allows it to maintain electrical contact even on tracks with elevation changes. This model, reference A10067S300 “mud effect”, in orange with #303 from the SPPEED team, features the Dakar decal and the names of Americans Gordon and Walch on the doors, and reproduces the real car that took part in the 2012 South American edition (Peru–Chile–Argentina) of the Dakar Rally.

Robby Gordon achieved his best Dakar result with a third-place finish in 2009, alongside Andy Grider. In the 2012 edition he competed with Kellon Walch as co-driver in the Hummer H3, although he did not manage to finish the race. Johnny Campbell had initially been planned as navigator, but ultimately did not take part in the event. Tecnitoys used this 2012 Hummer as the basis for their references A10067S300 and A10081S300. The Hummer H3 prepared for off-road competition stands out for its structural robustness, long-travel suspension and generous ground clearance — qualities ideal for raids and Baja-style events. Although its weight makes it less agile than lighter prototypes, it compensates with mechanical reliability and outstanding traction capability on sand, rock or mud. In American and Mexican competitions it has been used mainly in production-derived or modified vehicle categories. For its A10081S300 model, Tecnitoys reproduced Gordon's Hummer that competed in the 2012 South American edition (Peru–Chile–Argentina) of the Dakar Rally.
