In 2013, its first year under the Scalextric licence, Fábrica de Juguetes released this new unit corresponding to a Renault 4L, reference A10070S300. The model came with rear-wheel drive, front and rear LED lights, and a guide with automatic return and double braid. In light blue and numbered #44, it carries no driver names — only the Rally de Monte-Carlo 1962 decal — although it is a replica of the car that raced in Monte Carlo in 1963, driven by the French duo Jean-Pierre Manzon and Hubert Melot.

The Renault 4 (4L) was an extremely robust and lightweight economy car, with front-wheel drive and long-travel suspension, which gave it surprising effectiveness on snow and broken roads. It competed in rallies during the 1960s and 70s, including the Monte Carlo Rally, usually in lower categories. It was not competitive against more powerful cars, but stood out for its reliability and ability to finish tough events. It was widely used by private and amateur teams. Jean-Pierre Manzon and Hubert Melot, starting from Paris in their Renault 4L, took part in the 1963 Monte Carlo Rally, though they had little chance of competing against more powerful, snow-ready cars. They finished in 68th place in a very challenging rally that was won by the Saab 96 driven by Erik Carlsson and co-driven by Gunnar Palm. Fábrica de Juguetes used the Manzon and Melot Renault 4L as the model for their reference A10070S300.
