In 2012, its final year of marketing Scalextric models, Tecnitoys presented this brand-new Citroën DS3 model with reference A10066S300. The car featured four-wheel drive powered by a dual-axle RK91 motor, front and rear LED lights, an automatic return guide, and a double braid. With "RED BULL" livery and #1, the car stands out for its light blue and white striped roof. It carries the Argentina Rally sticker and the names of Loeb and Elena on the rear windows. The real car that competed in that rally in 2011 served as the model for Tecnitoys' reference A10066S300.

The Citroën DS3 WRC was the successor to the C4 WRC and made its debut in the 2011 World Championship under the new WRC 1.6 turbo regulations. Citroën fielded it with the official Citroën Total World Rally Team. At the 2011 Rally Argentina, Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena won the event in the DS3 WRC #1 of the Citroën Total WRT team; in the final standings they appear ahead of Ogier, who finished second also in a Citroën DS3. That result was one of the victories in the 2011 campaign with which Loeb went on to claim yet another world title. Tecnitoys based its reference A10066S300 on this car.
