In 1994 Tyco marketed two versions of an unprecedented model, the Subaru Impreza with references 8376 and 8377. Both models came with lights and four-wheel drive through a dual-axle motor. This model with reference 8377 and #2, comes with ")))" decoration which in reality was "555" a tobacco brand that could not be reproduced for legal reasons.

In 1994, several drivers (Sainz, McRae, Burns and Bourne) competed with Subaru Impreza cars, blue color and "555" decoration. Tyco was clearly inspired by this decoration for its model, although for legal reasons it had to substitute the tobacco brand "555" for ")))". The reference 8377, with #2, was surely inspired by the car with which Sainz and Moya achieved third position at the 1994 Monte Carlo Rally.
