In 1991, Exin commercialized a new version of the Porsche 911 (953) mounted on the old Carrera RS chassis. Like the old Porsche Carrera, it comes without lights and with rear-wheel drive, although in this version with a closed engine. In green color and with decal #220, it reproduces the Foltène Racing Team decoration from the 1988 Paris-Dakar on the Porsche 911 4x4 "953".

This Exin model with #220 and license plate S-JV 1180 corresponds to the real car driven by Laffite/Landereau (#220) in the 1988 Paris Dakar. The "twin" team Jabouille/Levent carried #221 (S-JV 1181). Both 953s were painted in Foltène green for that 1988 edition. Neither team managed to finish the competition.
