In 2005, Tecnitoys commercialized the "Rally Circuit!" with reference 8071. This circuit included two cars with "mud effect" finish, a Ford Fiesta and a Citroën C2. This Citroën reference 8071b is identical to the previous year's model reference 6166, but with "mud effect" finish and corresponds to a C2 S1600, featuring rear-wheel drive and front and rear LED lights. In red/orange color, #1, with Rally de Avilés decals and the names of M. Fuster and V. Medina on the rear windows, it reproduces the actual car that competed in that rally.

The Citroën C2 Super 1600 officially debuted in 2004 as the successor to the Saxo Kit Car within the entry ladder to the WRC. It was equipped with a 1.6 naturally aspirated engine of approximately 215 horsepower, front-wheel drive, and sequential gearbox, and was one of the dominant cars in the JWRC. Miguel Fuster and Vicente Medina with a Citroën C2 S1600 from the Citroën Sport team competed in the 28th Rally de Avilés in 2004, but had to retire due to an accident. Tecnitoys reproduced this car in its model reference 8071a included in the "Rally Circuit".
