Impreza

In 2002 Tecnitoys marketed two identical versions of the Subaru Impreza, one with "snow effect" reference 6111 and a second "mud effect" that was included in the "Australia Circuit" reference 8053. Both cars with four-wheel drive powered by a dual-axle motor, front and rear lights by optical transmission, "SUBARU WORLD RALLY TEAM" #10 livery, Swedish Rally decals and the names of Mäkinen and Lindström on the rear windows. This "mud effect" model reference 8053a was included in the "Australia Circuit" and is a replica of the real car in which the Finnish crew raced the 2002 Swedish Rally.

In 2002 Tommi Mäkinen and Kaj Lindström at the wheel of a Subaru Impreza S7 WRC '01 from the 555 Subaru WRT team participated in the 51st Uddeholm Swedish Rally, having to retire in the sixth stage due to an engine failure. This blue and yellow car with #10 was replicated by Tecnitoys in their model reference 8053a. The 2001 Impreza WRC (S7) was the first WRC based on the new GD chassis: more rigid, with redesigned suspensions, better weight distribution, and more effective engine management. It represented a notable advance in stability, traction, and reliability compared to the 1999 and 2000 Impreza WRC models.
