Córdoba

The Seat Córdoba was the star car of 2001 with up to 7 different versions to add to those from previous years. Tecnitoys marketed 3 individual versions with references 6063, 6072 and 6075. Subsequently a "kit rally" pack reference 6903 containing three other versions of the Córdoba and finally the Club Scalextric car, also a Córdoba reference 6061. The "Kit Rally" came with three bodies and three pairs of axles with their wheels, but with only one chassis. Like the Seat Córdobas from previous years, it featured front and rear lights with optical transmission, four-wheel drive through a dual-shaft motor and a tilting guide. This model reference 6903B in yellow and blue with #21 and "TELEFONICA / MOVISTAR" livery came with Rally Catalunya-Costa Brava decals and the names of drivers S.Cañellas and A.Sanchís on the rear window. It is the same as model reference 6072, although with an added light bar. Except for this detail, it is an exact replica of the original car from the 2001 Rally Catalunya-Costa Brava.

In 2000 the Evo 3 arrived, which refined the Córdoba WRC with improvements in weight distribution, electronics and aerodynamics, maintaining the regulation 300 HP but gaining in reliability and balance. Salvador Cañellas Jr. and Alberto Sanchís driving a Seat Cordoba WRC Evo3 with #21 from the Seat Sport team competed in the 2001 Rally Catalunya-Costa Brava, although they had to retire due to an accident. Tecnitoys based its "Kit Rally" 6903B model on that vehicle.
