The SEAT 850 TC Coupé was basically a SEAT 850 Coupé prepared for competition, not a clearly distinct version like the later Sport Coupé. It was a small, lightweight car with a rear engine and rear-wheel drive, well suited to national rallies, hill climbs, and club events. For its model with reference number 6512, Tecnitoys based itself on the car driven by "Rizos" Muñoz and Luis Valero that ran in the 1970 RACE Rally, where they finished in 22nd place overall and fourth in Group 1.
