In 2011, within the "off road" series, Tecnitoys marketed two versions of the Hummer H3 under references 6507 and 6508, with the first featuring a "mud effect" finish. Both came with four-wheel drive powered by a dual-axle motor, front and rear LED lights, and a guide with an articulated arm that allows it to maintain electrical contact even on tracks with uneven surfaces. This model, reference 6507, in silver and black with #860 and a "mud effect" finish, carries no rally decals and bears the names of Thad Stump and Josh Ogg on the doors. Tecnitoys based this model on the car that raced in the 2009 Baja 1000.

The Hummer H3 prepared for off-road competition stands out for its structural robustness, long-travel suspension and high ground clearance — qualities ideal for raid-style events and Baja-type races. Although its weight makes it less agile than lightweight prototypes, it makes up for this with mechanical reliability and tremendous traction on sand, rock or mud. In American and Mexican competitions it has been used primarily in production-based or modified vehicle categories. The Rod Hall Racing Hummer H3 Alpha #860 won the Stock Full class at the 2009 Baja 1000. The vehicle was driven throughout the entire race by Chad Hall, which is unusual for this endurance event. The names of other team members also appeared on the bodywork, including Thad Stump and Josh Ogg. Tecnitoys reproduced this car for their models 6507 and 6508.
