In 2011, Tecnitoys released a new livery version of the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo, with reference 6485. The model came with rear-wheel drive, a tilting guide with double brush and front and rear LED lights. In yellow with a white roof, it carries the #9 and Rally Monte-Carlo decals with the names of Jean Ragnotti and Jean-Marc Andrié. Tecnitoys revived the livery of the original 1981 Renault 5 Turbo for their model reference 6485, using the Maxi Turbo body mould.

In 1981, Jean Ragnotti and Jean-Marc Andrié won the Rally de Monte-Carlo driving a Renault 5 Turbo for the Renault Elf team. The Renault 5 Maxi Turbo was the final evolution of the Renault 5 Turbo, developed in 1985 for Group B of the World Rally Championship. Tecnitoys reproduced that car for their reference 6485 using the Renault 5 Maxi Turbo body mould.
