In 2009, within the Classics Series, Tecnitoys released two new versions of the Renault 8, both featuring rear-wheel drive, front and rear LED lights, and guidance with automatic return system and dual rail. This model reference 6380 in yellow color bears the names J.Sorts and M.Mauri on the rear windows and a plate from the 54 Rally Costa Brava. Tecnitoys reproduced the car with which these drivers participated in the Costa Brava rally in 2006.

Jaume Sorts and Marc Mauri participated in the 54 Rally Costa Brava in 2006 driving a Renault 8 Gordini. They had to retire very early on, making it difficult to find data on the car in the race databases. Tecnitoys was inspired by this car for its model 6380.
