Delta

In 2009 within the Classics series, Tecnitoys marketed an unprecedented model, the Lancia Delta S4 with reference 6378. The car came with four-wheel drive and a dual overhead cam engine, front and rear LED lights, and a guide with automatic return and dual wipers. In black and gold with #1, it features "ESSO" decoration, Rally Costa Brava decal, and the names of Italians Fabrizio Tabaton and Luciano Tedeschini on the sides. Tecnitoys was inspired by the real car that competed in that rally in 1986.

The Lancia Delta S4 was a Group B with a tubular chassis, composite materials bodywork, and a mid-mounted engine. It featured a 1.8-liter four-cylinder with dual supercharging (supercharger + turbo) and permanent all-wheel drive. In rally version it developed around 480–500 horsepower with a weight under 1,000 kg, which gave it extreme performance. It was one of the most advanced and radical cars of the 1980s. In 1986 Fabrizio Tabaton and Luciano Tedeschini driving a Lancia Delta S4 from the Grifone Esso team, managed to win the 34 Rally Costa Brava, serving as the model for Tecnitoys' reference 6378.
