The SCX model corresponds to the car with which Dani Sordo and Marc Martí competed in the Monte-Carlo Rally in 2008. Despite showing good pace and reaching second position during the first stage, Sordo had to retire from the race. His participation ended in stage 11 due to an engine mechanical problem in his car. The Citroën C4 WRC was developed by Citroën Sport and competed in the World Championship between 2007 and 2010, replacing the successful Xsara WRC. It featured a 2.0 turbo engine with around 315 horsepower, all-wheel drive, and a chassis specially tuned to offer outstanding stability on asphalt, though it was also very competitive on gravel. In the hands of Sébastien Loeb and Dani Sordo, it achieved 4 constructors' titles and 3 drivers' titles.
