In 2008, Tecnitoys released a new version of the Subaru Impreza with reference number 6300, which, like previous versions from earlier years, came with all-wheel drive featuring a horizontally-opposed engine, front and rear LED lights, and a guide with an automatic return system with dual wipers. The model in black color and bearing the iconic #46 of Valentino Rossi, is a replica of the car with which this famous motorcycle racer competed in the Rally of New Zealand in 2006.

In 2006, Valentino Rossi and Carlo Cassina achieved 11th place in the 37 Propecia Rally New Zealand. Driving a Subaru Impreza S11 WRC '05. This car was reproduced by Tecnitoys in their reference 6300. The Subaru Impreza WRC 2005 was a profound evolution compared to earlier models, with a wider body and extensively revised aerodynamics to gain stability. It maintained the boxer engine architecture and all-wheel drive, but offered more neutral and predictable handling, designed for consistency rather than pure aggression.
