C2

In 2008, Tecnitoys released a new version of the Citroën C2 with reference number 6284. The model, like its predecessors, came with rear-wheel drive, front and rear LED lights, and a guide with automatic return. In yellow color and bearing #44, it featured the Rally Cantabria Infinita livery and the names of D. Balash and M. Muñoz on the car's rear windows. Tecnitoys used the actual car that competed in that rally for its model.

The drivers Dani Balasch / Manel Muñoz participated in the Rally Cantabria Infinita in 2005 with a Citroën C2 GT in the C2 Cup category and finished classified in third place in that category (in 21st position in the final overall standings of the event). The Citroën C2 GT was a rally version developed for Spanish national championships, based on the standard C2 and equipped with a 2.0 naturally aspirated engine, front-wheel drive, and manual H-pattern gearbox. It stood out for offering good performance at competitive costs, which made it a common choice in regional rallies and the Spanish Rally Championship in the mid-2000s.
