Escort

In 2007, within the classics series Tecnitoys released two new versions of the same Ford Escort MkII RS1800 model, references 6280 and 6326, the latter featuring a mud effect. Both versions were rear-wheel drive and featured front and rear LED lights, as well as a self-centering guide with twin braids. Finished in red with black side sections, they carried Cossack livery, race number 6, Lombard RAC Rally 1976 decals, and the names of Roger Clark and Stuart Pegg on the sides. Tecnitoys reproduced the car with which the two drivers won the 1976 Lombard RAC Rally.

The Ford Escort MkII was introduced in 1975 as an evolution of the original Escort, retaining its simple, lightweight, rear-wheel-drive layout. Its sporting versions, especially the RS1800, achieved considerable success in rallying during the second half of the 1970s. The Escort RS1800 driven by Clark/Pegg won the Lombard RAC Rally held from 27 to 30 November 1976. The event had 259 entrants, only 71 of whom finished, and consisted of 76 stages covering approximately 315 competitive miles. Tecnitoys reproduced this car as model 6280.
