In 2007, within the Classics Series, Tecnitoys presented the novelty of a Renault Alpine with reference 6259. With a beautiful metallic blue color, it featured rear-wheel drive, LED headlights and taillights, and guidance with an automatic return system. The model carried the decal from the Monte Carlo Rally, the names of Andersson and Stone on the bodywork, and the name Marrakech on the doors, which is the city from where the prologue stage started. The model is a replica of the actual car that participated in that rally in 1971.

The Alpine-Renault A110 1600 was one of the most successful rally cars of the early 1970s, standing out for its light weight, rear engine, and great agility. In its 1600 version, it reached competitive maturity and allowed Alpine to dominate the international scene. In 1973, it won the first FIA World Rally Championship for Manufacturers, with drivers such as Andruet, Thérier, or Darniche. It is considered a technical and sporting icon of classic rallying. Ove Andersson and David Stone, at the wheel of an official team Alpine-Renault A110 1600, won the 40th Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo in 1971, with their prologue stage start in Marrakech. A replica of this beautiful car can be found in Tecnitoys' model reference 6259.
