In 2007, within the Classics Series, Tecnitoys marketed an unprecedented model to date, the Ford Escort. The car with reference 6258 came with four-wheel drive powered by a dual-axis motor, LED headlights and taillights, and guidance with an automatic return system. In white and blue with #7, it bears the names of Mäkinen and Harjanne on the bodywork and stands out for a large white headlight. Tecnitoys replicated the car with which both drivers competed in the 1994 1000 Lakes Rally.

The Ford Escort RS Cosworth was Ford's rally car in the WRC between 1993 and 1998, derived from the Sierra Cosworth and homologated in Group A. It mounted a 2.0 turbo with full-time four-wheel drive and stood out for its large functional rear wing. It achieved several victories in the World Championship, but fell behind Subaru and Mitsubishi in overall effectiveness. Nevertheless, it had a long and successful career in national championships and is today an icon of the 1990s. In 1994, Tommi Mäkinen and Seppo Harjanne achieved victory in the 1000 Lakes Rally driving a Ford Escort RS Cosworth from the Ford Motor Co. Ltd. team. Tecnitoys reproduced this car in their model 6258.
