En el año 2006 dentro de la serie “Off Road” Tecnitoys comercializó dos modelos del Mitsubishi Montero con referencias 6225 y 6234, reproduciendo los vehículos de Luc Alphand i Nani Roma en el Lisboa-Dakar de 2006. Ambos modelos llevan tracción en las cuatro ruedas con un motor(RX 10.3) de doble eje, luces led delanteras y traseras y una guía con un brazo articulado que le permite mantener la toma de corriente incluso en pistas con desniveles. Este modelo referencia 6225 con #302 es una réplica del coche de Luc Alphand y Gilles Picard y venía también incluído en el “Circuito Off Road” referencia 8082 .

In 2006, it achieved victory at the Dakar with Luc Alphand and Gilles Picard (Mitsubishi Ralliart), consolidating the Japanese brand's historic streak of seven consecutive wins in the race. This model was reproduced by Tecnitoys in their model 6225.
