Lancer

In 2006, Tecnitoys commercialized with reference 6207 a new model of the Mitsubishi Lancer, slightly different from the models of previous years, which was marked on the chassis as EVO VIII. The model featured four-wheel drive powered by a dual-axis engine, front and rear LED lights with optical transmission, and steering with an automatic return system. In red and silver colors, #9 with "RALLI ART" decoration, it featured decals from the Rally of Catalonia-Costa Daurada and the name Rovanperä on the rear windows. Due to its decoration, this model corresponds to the Lancer WRC 05 with which Rovanperä and Pietiläinen competed in that rally in 2006.

The Mitsubishi Lancer WRC 05 was the final evolution of Mitsubishi's World Rally Car, developed under WRC regulations and with no direct technical relationship to street Evo models. It used a 2.0 turbo of approximately 300 horsepower, all-wheel drive, and specific aerodynamics, and competed in the 2005 World Championship with drivers such as Harri Rovanperä, Gigi Galli, and Gilles Panizzi. It was a fast but unreliable car, and marked the end of Mitsubishi's official program in the WRC. Harri Rovanperä and Risto Pietiläinen finished tenth in the 41st RallyRACC Catalonia-Costa Daurada in 2005, driving a Mitsubishi Lancer WRC 05 for the Mitsubishi Motors team. This car served as the model for Tecnitoys for its reference 6207.
