In 2005, within the "Classics" series, Tecnitoys presented the novelty of the Fiat 124 Abarth with reference 6189. The car comes as a 124 Abarth "Spider" although the bodywork corresponds to the Abarth "Rally" model. It features rear-wheel drive, front and rear LED lights, and power steering with automatic return. The model in red colour with yellow stripes bears the #3, the name of M. Verini, and comes without any rally decals. Maurizio Verini competed in numerous rallies between 1973-1975 with a Fiat 124 Abarth, although he is only documented with #3 in the 1973 Rally 999 minuti. It is unclear whether Tecnitoys based itself on any specific car for their model.
