In 2005, Tecnitoys marketed a new version of the Ford Focus with reference 6188. The car came with four-wheel drive powered by a dual-axis engine, front and rear LED lights, and steering with an automatic return system. Model #14 with the Mexico Rally decal and the name Kresta on the rear windows is a replica of the car that competed in that Rally in 2005.

The Ford Focus WRC 2004 was a direct evolution of the 2003, lighter, more reliable, and with a smoother and more usable engine response. It incorporated minor aerodynamic and cooling refinements, and adjustments to the suspension and chassis to make it more consistent in long rallies. It did not revolutionize the concept, but it did improve overall performance and team consistency. Román Kresta and Jan Možný, driving a Ford Focus RS WRC '04 from the BP Ford World Rally Team, participated in the 2005 Corona Rally Mexico, although they were disqualified. This car served as the model for Tecnitoys' reference 6188.
