In 2005, Tecnitoys released a new version of the Subaru Impreza with reference 6181. It came with four-wheel drive powered by a dual-axis motor, front and rear LED lights, and a guide rail with automatic return system. It is a replica of the actual car that Solberg and Mills raced in Monte-Carlo in 2005. The model in blue and yellow, with #5, features Monte-Carlo Rally decals and Solberg's name on the rear windows.

The Subaru Impreza WRC '04 (S10) is an evolution of the WRC '03 (S9): it maintains the same base, but Prodrive revised the aerodynamics, lightened panels, and fine-tuned the suspension and weight distribution. It also incorporated more advanced electronics and ECU, with improved turbo management and differentials. Petter Solberg and Phil Mills competed in the 2005 Monte-Carlo Rally driving a Subaru Impreza S10 WRC '04 from the Subaru World Rally Team, although they did not finish the event due to a crash on stage SS12 La Bollène Vésubie – Sospel 1.
