Fiesta

In 2004, Tecnitoys commercialized a new version of the Ford Fiesta JWRC with reference 6162 which the following year was also included in the "Rally Circuit" reference 8071. The model corresponds to a Ford Fiesta Super 1600, very different from the previous Fiesta models commercialized by Exin, featuring rear-wheel drive and front and rear LED lights. The car in white with distinctive decoration bears #43, with "ACROPOLIS" decals and decoration and the name Latvala on the rear windows. This model was inspired by the actual car that competed in the 2004 Acropolis Rally.

The Ford Fiesta Super 1600 officially debuted in the JWRC in 2004, as part of a junior drivers program that Ford promoted with M-Sport. It was a front-wheel drive car with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine and around 215 horsepower, a direct rival to the Citroën C2 S1600, Renault Clio S1600, and Suzuki Ignis S1600. At the 2004 Acropolis Rally, Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila drove a Ford Fiesta S1600, having to retire from the event in special stage SS 12 due to a clutch failure. Tecnotoys reproduced this car in their model reference 6162.
