Xsara

In 2003, Tecnitoys commercialized two different versions of the Citroën Xsara with references 6097 and 6122. Like models from previous years, they came equipped with front and rear lights with optical transmission, four-wheel drive powered by a dual-axle motor, and steering with an automatic return system (A.R.S.). This model reference 6122 in red color with white roof and #19 features the livery of the Rally Monte-Carlo and displays the names C.Sainz and M.Martí on the rear windows. It is based on the real car with the exception of likely having a lamp pod on the nose.

The Citroën Xsara WRC made its debut in 2001 as the first rally car developed entirely by Citroën Sport for the World Rally Championship. Equipped with a 2.0 turbo engine, all-wheel drive, and sequential gearbox, it stood out for its balance and reliability. Carlos Sainz and Marc Martí, driving a Citroën Xsara WRC from the Citroën Total WRT team, achieved third position in the 71st Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo in 2003. Tecnitoys based its model 6122 on this car, though probably with the addition of a lamp pod on the nose.
