In 2003, Tecnitoys launched a new version of the Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VII with four-wheel drive powered by a dual-axis engine and featuring front and rear lights, although in this case with the novelty of incorporating LED lights that were promoted as "high-intensity xenon lights". The model reference 6121, #14 in gray and red color, featured "RALLY ART" decoration, Arctic Lapland Rally livery, and the names of M.Häkkinen and A.Kapanen on the rear windows. Tecnitoys replicated the car in which this renowned F1 driver made his debut in the world of Rallying in 2003.

The Mitsubishi Lancer WRC2 was an evolution of the original Lancer EVO VII WRC that incorporated improvements in suspension, geometry, and electronic systems. These changes were aimed at improving the overall performance of the vehicle, making it more competitive than its predecessor. In 2003, renowned F1 driver Mika Häkkinen, after his retirement, made his debut in the world of Rallying alongside his co-driver Arto Kapanen at the Arctic Lapland Rally. Driving a Mitsubishi Lancer WRC2 for the Mitsubishi Ralliart Finland team, they managed to finish in 29th position in this demanding Nordic rally. Tecnitoys replicated this car for its model reference 6121.
