Lancer

In 2002, Tecnitoys marketed three versions of the Mitsubishi Lancer, although somewhat different from the previous ones to adapt the bodywork to the new real EVO VII model. This model with reference 6090 came in red, with #9, "RALLY ART" decoration, with Rally Catalunya-Costa Brava decals and the names of drivers F. Delecour and D. Grataloup on the rear windows. This model is a replica of the real car from the 2002 Rally Catalunya-Costa Brava.

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII WRC, which debuted at the San Remo Rally in October 2001, represented a radical change from previous versions. The new WRC was designed according to World Rally Car regulations, which allowed much greater freedom of modification than Group A, especially in engine, transmission and bodywork. The Evo VII was built on the larger Lancer Cedia chassis, a bigger and more advanced car than the Lancers on which previous Evos were based. François Delecour and Daniel Grataloup with a Mitsubishi Lancer WRC EVO VII from the Marlboro Mitsubishi Ralliart team achieved ninth position at the 38th Rally Catalunya-Costa Brava in 2002. This car served as the model for Tecnitoys' miniature reference 6090.
