In 2001 Tecnitoys marketed a limited edition, with certificate of authenticity and series numbering, of a legendary car from the 1960s, the Mini Cooper. The model came beautifully presented in a cylindrical cardboard box in red and black. It featured rear-wheel drive with an RX-4 motor and had no lights. The 1967 Monte Carlo Rally decal and the #177 clearly identify it as the car that won that year driven by Rauno Aaltonen and Henry Liddon.

In the 1967 Monte Carlo Rally, Rauno Aaltonen and Henry Liddon at the controls of a Morris Mini Cooper S managed to take first place in the event. Henry Liddon had already achieved victory two years earlier, also with a Mini driven by Paddy Hopkirk. The winning car in 1967, red with #177, served as the model for Tecnitoys' exclusive model reference 6073.
