Octavia

In 2001 Tecnitoys launched a new model, the Škoda Octavia, in two versions with references 6049 and 6066. Both in white, with front and rear lights by optical transmission, four-wheel drive powered by a dual-axle motor and tilting guide. This model with reference 6066, #11 and "CASTROL / ALLIANZ" livery came with a Monte Carlo Rally decal and the names of drivers Schwarz / Hiemer on the rear windows. The model is a reproduction of the actual car that ran in the Monte Carlo Rally in the year 2001. The model was also included in “Portugal circuit” reference 8049.

The Octavia WRC marked Škoda's leap to the highest level of the World Championship, with all-wheel drive, turbo and full WRC homologation. It debuted at the 1999 Monte Carlo Rally. In 2001 Armin Schwarz and Manfred Hiemer achieved seventh place in the 69th Monte Carlo Rally with a Škoda Octavia WRC from the Škoda Motorsport team. Tecnitoys reproduced this vehicle for its model reference 6066.
