Córdoba

The Seat Córdoba was the star car of 2001 with up to 7 different versions to add to those from previous years. Tecnitoys marketed 3 individual versions with references 6063, 6072 and 6075. Subsequently a "kit rally" pack reference 6903 with three other versions of the Córdoba and finally the Club Scalextric car, also a Córdoba reference 6061. Like the Seat Córdobas from previous years, it featured front and rear lights with optical transmission, four-wheel drive through a dual-shaft motor and a tilting guide. The Seat Córdoba reference 6061 was a special 2001 Club Scalextric edition, with a green body and the name "Pollock" on the sides, which does not represent a real competition car. The decoration is likely an artistic nod to Jackson Pollock, an American painter and key figure of abstract expressionism, famous for his "dripping" technique, which consisted of splashing and dripping paint onto large canvases. His chaotic and free style revolutionized modern art in the 1940s and 50s.
