Mégane

In its first year (1998) Tecnitoys marketed a new version of the Renault Mégane from previous eras. This model with reference 6054, #28 and "YACCO" livery bears the name of C Vaison on the window. Tecnitoys probably based it on the Mégane with which Vaison raced rallycross in the late 90s.

In the second half of the 1990s Christopher Vaison participated in several rallycross events. In 1997 he won the Tourisme-Spécial (T3F) championship with a Renault Mégane in "YACCO" livery. There is evidence that at Mayenne at least he raced with #28. Tecnitoys possibly based its reproduction on that car, using the mould of the rally Megane with driver and co-driver.
