Ibiza Kit Car

In the year 2000 Tecnitoys released a new version of the Seat Ibiza Kit Car EVO II with reference 6053. Tecnitoys used the same mold as Tyco's EVO I and like previous versions of the Ibiza, it came without lights and with rear-wheel drive. The model in yellow with #2 features the Scottish Rally decals and the names of Evans and Davies on the rear windows and is clearly inspired by the real car that competed in that rally.

The Seat Ibiza Kit Car EVO II was designed and developed during 1998, at SEAT's Technical Center in Martorell, as a direct evolution of the 1996-1997 Ibiza Kit Car EVO I, featuring aerodynamic and chassis improvements. At the 54th RSAC Scottish Rally in 1999, Gwyndaf Evans and Howard Davies achieved fourth place driving a Seat Ibiza Kit Car EVO II from the Seat Cupra Sport team. The Tecnitoys car is a replica of the real model's livery although with Tyco's EVO I bodywork.
