Octavia

In 2001 Tecnitoys launched a new model, the Škoda Octavia, in two versions with references 6049 and 6066. Both in white, with front and rear lights by optical transmission, four-wheel drive powered by a dual-axle motor and tilting guide. This model with reference 6049, #12 and "AIRTEL" livery came with a Rally Catalunya-Costa Brava decal and the names of drivers Climent and Romaní on the rear windows. The model is a reproduction of the actual car that ran in the Rally Catalunya-Costa Brava in the year 2000.

The Octavia WRC marked Škoda's leap to the highest level of the World Championship, with all-wheel drive, turbo and full WRC homologation. It debuted at the 1999 Monte Carlo Rally. In 2000 Luís Climent and Àlex Romaní participated in the 36th Rallye Catalunya - Costa Brava with a Škoda Octavia WRC from the Škoda Motorsport team, although they had to retire due to an accident. Tecnitoys reproduced this vehicle for its model reference 6049.
